You need:

  • chicken
  • onion
  • mirin
  • soy sauce
  • dried bonito
  • skillet
  • yellow onion
  • egg
  • 25 mins
  • rice (super important)
  • msg (optional)

How to: (this recipe is super duper hard, so please read my instructions carefully!)

  • Cut boneless chicken to small edible pieces.
  • Cut yellow onion (indo: bawang bombay)
  • Marinate for a while (eh, 5 - 15 mins?) with soy sauce & dried bonito (it already contains the super powder a.k.a MSG, so I don’t put more MSG. But if you want, feel free to add it.)
  • Heat up your frying pan and stir a little garlic just for extra taste. When it starts to turns dark, put down the meat, add mirin secukupnya (lol, just use your feeling). Wait until the meat look brownish.
  • Put those bawang bombay on top of the meat, after one or two minutes, turn down the heat to medium, mix the meat and onion.
  • Wait until the onion looks layu before you drop the last ingredient: beaten egg (indo: telor kocok)

Tada, mine looks like this:

oyakodon

Try this recipe at your own risk. If you don’t believe me, I totally understand your decision. Who trust my cooking skill anyway? And you can always go to Almighty Google-Sensei and found a better recipe~
